The Sacramento Zoo recently held its annual Flamingo Round Up and I was fortunate enough to attend in person!! I was able to get up close and personal with the flamingos; including toughing their heads and feet. I also observed the veterinary teams weigh each of flamingos, check their eyes, and draw a sample of blood to make sure they were all healthy.
